Considering lilac+black scheme

I'm thinking about painting my Tormentors/incurosors in the same pattern as the showcase black/pink but with lilac instead of pink, and with gold trims. Maybe Daemonette hide highlighted with dechala lilac?

What do you think? I really like the striking contrast between the pink and black in the official colour scheme, but I much prefer a light purple/lilac to pink. Plus, this would be an homage to the heresy colours.

Has anything similar been tried before? I have never seen anyone paint Emperors children in lilac before.
