Elias Coteas in "Crash"--Inspiration for the western jacket fit?
Back in my Hedi Slimane days, the fit of this jacket in the movie annoyed me. But now, after fully embracing ERD, I now think that it influenced the western leather jacket fit-- in particular, the cropped hem with fuller sleeves.
What we know is that they did sample some dialogue from the film in one of the runway shows. Also, that the movie is awesome, and the brand seems to have relatively good taste in movies.
Unfortunately I can't find a better pic from the movie. This is the scene where they pick up the prostitute in the airport parking lot. He makes her spit out her gum because he "doesn't want her blowing it up his urethra."
