My Perfect Sapphire… + story/advice
My fiancé proposed on Christmas Eve morning in a perfect private moment between us on our couch while we drank our morning coffee. We designed/customized the ring (and by we I mean me lol) over the last few months with a local jeweler and couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s hard to capture just how pretty it is in pictures. The sapphire changes in different lights, which I love.
To those who are worried whether picking/designing your ring (or those worried about including their partner) will still feel special, let me assure you it will!! I viewed the final product at pickup to make sure there were no obvious mistakes and then he took the ring for a TBD proposal. He proposed about a month later. It was still a surprise since I didn’t know when and because I had only seen the ring once, I was still blown away when I saw it again. It remained so very special. I still cried despite knowing he would eventually propose because seeing him get down on one knee and say such meaningful words was everything. Plus, I got the exact ring I wanted. I wouldn’t change a thing. So don’t be scared to pick/design your own ring
