Advice wanted

I am a developer and want to start using a split /ergo keyboard. Unfortunately all the kits I've seen are a. It more expensive than I'd want to pays for a first ergo keyboard and often don't come with batteries as I live in the UK.

I want to investigate buying all the parts individually to see if I can get it cheaper as I don't want to spend an arm and a leg to get a keyboard that I have to assemble myself, and I don’t know if I’ll get on with.

Looking at the designs I like things like the corne with the thumb pads and the column keys. Does anyone know of a list of parts that I would need to get to get a similar keyboard for use in development and gaming?

thanks in advance

EDIT: I'm happy to do soldering or anything like that I've done similar stuff so don't mind non presoldered pcbs
