Is there a difference between KDE and Gnome's network managers? (WiFi issue)
I've been using Fedora Gnome for a few years on my laptop (Dell XPS 9560), but a recent SSD change prompted me to try KDE on my new install. The switch has been great, I really like KDE, but I have one annoying issue: the network manager takes a while to find my WiFi network (2.4 GHz, WPA2-PSK) after booting up or waking up from sleep. From 30s to 1min. I remember having instant connectivity under Gnome. Once connected I don't seem to have any issue.
Is there any difference between KDE and Gnome's network managers? Between Fedora 40 and 41 (I used to have Fedora 40 before the reinstall).
I should also mention that neighboring WiFi networks are found instantly, even if I can't connect to them. So maybe KDE doesn't like my router, the channel...
