Who should I take to Oeilvert?

I want to take Zidane, Freya, Steiner, and either Amorant, or Quina.

I see people say that Quina can destroy the desert temple with lv 5 death, but other people say I can learn blue magic if I bring him to Oeilvert?

Is it true that I can learn blue magic, and is it worth it, or can I just get it later?

No spoilers please this is my first play through.
