Nessie Hype?????

So I've been seeing like a lot of people on discord or in game saying they offer like a lot for Nessies. I mean I get it's an old fish and it's limited but so are others, for example the North Star serpent and stuff like that. How come they aren't as or as close to as popular as the Nessie? And also don't roast me for like being dumb and shit lol just wondering
