When did baby learn to hold their own bottle?
We have a 7 month old (as of Monday, crazy!) and he doesn't hold his own bottle yet. I think he probably could but he doesn't show much interest. He'll reach for it and direct it to his mouth or rest his hands on it but that's about as far as he'll go. I'm curious though because lately he is so distracted feeding. He takes a few drinks then needs to unlatch and turn his head completely to look at dad if mom's feeding or vice versa. Or check out anything else going on in the room or a sound or whatever. Then he turns back and wants to drink more until he does it again. Or he wants to just slap at or scratch the bottle while I hold it which inevitably means he knocked it out of his mouth. It's driving us nuts.
