OEM Hyundai Sport Shifter installed!

Replaced stock shifter with Hyundai Sport Shifter which came stock on Veloster R-Spec (newer gen) it’s definitely been a bit of a struggle. Replacing the shifter itself wasn’t that hard even thought that was my first time getting that deep in the car, just got to be patient, the real struggle was getting OEM Hyundai Parts which took me about 2 weeks to finally receive everything I needed to finish my project. (Ordering wrong parts with no actual pictures is definitely tricky just looking at the diagram since there is other trims of vehicles that use different parts even though it shows correct image on the diagram) I might change the knob to Elantra Sport knob eventually for now I have different issue… because of the reverse lockout ring gears 1,3,5 hit plastic trim ever so slightly. I will be trying something out even though I don’t think that will work/help but I’ll give it a shot, but as of right now, anyone know how to fix that? Any parts that might help to lift the ring slightly? I will make another post with part numbers if anyone is interested in doing it but that’s after I figure out my issue. I honestly really don’t want to go back to stock after doing all this work… plus it is definitely feels nicer to have shorter shifts.
