Green Nav on Cruise Control

I know I could probably look in the book for this (and I have), but I can’t seem to find why the “Nav” icon when doing the cruise control turns Green when I have it set to 55MPH. It’s done it a couple other times before as well, but it’s also been a different speed too. Any info on why it turns green?
