What should I know about Frenchies?

Hi Frenchie owners!

I am thoroughly researching this breed. I am considering adopting a Frenchie. I have been around them through friends and I absolutely love them. What should I know? What are your experiences? What should I ask or consider? For reference, I have owned dogs before. I am experienced with brachycephalic breeds. Fairly active, work remote, and have one teenager in my home. Currently no other animals in the home. Live in suburbs with lots of walking.
