Is the Subaru - Toyota collaboration stifling Paint color options on the Gr86?

Toyota has been releasing tons of Great colors on other vehicles but seem to only release colors that are on other Subaru’s on the 86. A quick example would be the 10th anniversary edition Orange being the same as the WRX (WCL) instead of the color of the car it was supposed to be a tribute to (H8R) and Saphire blue pearl & Trueno blue being the same color. (WCH) There is such wasted potential with the repertoire Of Great colors Toyota offers on other vehicles for the Gr86 to get a relatively generic color pallet.
