AT&T Cost

So my wife had to go to AT&T tonight to replace her crappy iPhone. Since my S21 Ultra has been paid off I ask her to inquire about how much an S24 Ultra would cost now that the S25's are out. They told her that they still have not come down in price and that the phone would cost like $40 a month. Does anyone have any idea when I can expect the cost to come down if the S24 Ultra?
