Options to reduce slide wear on your VFC Glock

Pic 1: Add electrical tape on the inside of you slide catch. Especially the one on the right side (gen.5) to bring it further in. This way it catcheson a larger surface.

Pic 2: get a thin sheet of stainless steel (0.2 mm from AliExpress) and glue it to the slide. There is special glue for metal. This way the catching surface gets strengthened. Still holds up after 5 slide lock reloads and can easily be replaced.

This will not stop the wear indefinitely but decrease it at least to some amount. I thought it might be worth it to share this approach with you guys.
