Are most women in our generation on antidepressants now?

It seems like most of the women in my social circle are on antidepressants and/or antianxiety meds. I can't find recent data on the actual percentage for the U.S. though.

There's tons of articles about this study showing that prescription rates surged during the pandemic, but it's about the rate of change in use, not the total rate of use, and I can't find anything about post pandemic numbers.

Interestingly, rates slightly declined for young men but surged for young women.

This worries me a lot. What would you guys estimate the rate is, based on your experience?

Edit: it's not the use of medication itself that is concerning, it's that the mental health crisis must be getting more severe if more people need medication to deal with it.
