Too much here...?

Tell me your thoughts on this guys. I'm close with my mum, we hang out, go shopping , get coffee, she's my best friend. But I never nor would I ever have this sort of chat. I'm not American, is this a typical convo between a mom and daughter? Or this one of those unhealthy enmeshed instances I see pop up on here ?
