The P6P ruined my relationship with google. The Bugs, The BS, and my story of why i left and you should to.

As the title states, my P6P ruined my relationship with google. I have been a devoted

pixel\nexus user since the nexus 6P. Since then i have had the pixel XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 5, and now the P6P.

The P6P has had so many bugs for me that it essentially ruined my experience of using the phone and everything that goes with it. It started with YouTube. It goes to the small screen that overlays the phone when scrolling other apps. Well, no matter what, when it comes to making it big again, it stays small and freezes on the screen until i close YouTube or sometimes having to reset the phone. If i am using GPS i have the same overlay freeze issue. My jaybird vistas disconnect audio anytime i switch apps. Only happens on my P6P and it makes my BT headphones useless. The phones android auto works maybe half the time in my vehicle, giving me constant error messages. The battery takes 3 hours to charge yet dies half way through the day. The finger print scanner either works slowly, or it doesn't at all. The screen itself randomly goes full white until i close the phone and reopen. The 5g is slow, both in experience and speed test when compared to other phones on the same service side by side. Half the time my service gets the ! of death next to the status bars until it decides to reconnect. The phone call volume goes to max ever single time i get a call and I'm pretty sure i have ear damage from that. The refresh rate of the screen occasionally goes potato. The color of the screen also occasionally goes highlighter purple until i close the phone or reset it. The screen itself is developing pretty drastic edges between it and the body of the phone. And lastly that i can think of, it randomly gets super hot, like painfully hot, when its been closed.

After dealing with these issues for 4 months and multiple updates to no avail, i decided to test drive a iPhone 13 pro. To put it simply, i will not buy another android again. Every single issue i experienced with the P6P is gone with the 13 pro. And the phone itself is an upgrade in every sense, from battery to screen, to stability. I was a hardcore android fanboy, but this premium google phone that is so bugged out that it ruined my experiences with my accessories, i became done with android.

IF you are tolerating the bugs hoping for a patch, save your time and buy something that works out of the box.
