Epiphany re: guitar tone, Radio City show

So I'm listening to Radio City from 2023 and I had a massive realization. You would think I would love Phish, considering how much I adore jam band music, and I do enjoy a few songs, but mostly I don't care for them. Listening to Trey and Rick play side by side, I'm now almost sure it's because the tone of Trey's guitar is a sensory issue for me (I'm autistic). I could listen to Goose for hours on end (and have the last week since I found them), but with Phish I can only listen for 10-15 minutes before I'm just done. Wild.
