Looking to sell a project upper receiver I started, function checked, and do not intend to finish.

It has seen 40 rounds down the pipe, quite a pleasant recoil impulse given the piston system, very nice 3:30 ejection with an H2 and a Geissele recoil spring.

I'm parting ways with it because I wish to stick with my LMT 14.5" build.

Upper cost $1200 to put together, all new parts, accept for the recoil op-rod.

The Brownells upper receivers have come a long way, they're machined and finished quite nicely with a satisfying texture. See photos of examples of that.

HK Parts include the dust cover, gas block, Piston and op-rod.

BRN-4 M27 contour barrel 16.1" 4150CrMov, chrome lined, BRN-4 Upper receiver and op rod bushing. BCG is the new phosphate and Chrome BRN-4 varient.

The charging handle is just an Aero milspec and the upper receiver small parts are from Haus HK.

Barrel nut was torqued to 60 ft/lbs with aeroshell milspec grease on the barrel extension and barrel nut/Upper receiver threads.

If you want to take over this project from me, you basically get a new upper at a $200.00 discount over buying the parts yourself.
