Switching Primary Weapons (PS4/PS5)

Hi, newly obsessed with the game on PS5. My ONE GRIPE is the weapon switching. By default, Triangle switches weapons between 1, 2, and 3 (with 3 being the default starting gun). The controls say to hold Triangle to switch to the starting weapon, which technically works, but he problem is that pressing Triangle cycles through all three.

Is there a way to fix it so that pressing Triangle only cycles between weapons 1 and 2? And HOLDING Triangle is the only way to switch to the starting weapon? It feels like that's how it should be but not sure how to force it.
