Feeling jaded about dating

I’m 27 I’ve been through multiple talking stages over the past 5 years through dating apps but have never been in a real relationship. I can get dates, talk to a woman for a few weeks sometimes a month or 2 and then even if I thought it was going well I usually get told the same thing “I only see you as a friend” or “I don’t feel the romantic connection”.

It’s left me feeling pretty jaded about dating. Why put in so much time and emotional investment for it to end the same way? Im not lonely since I got my family and plenty of friends in the area.

I know there’s tons of posts bout this in the sub. If anyone else is also Muslim living in America that’s either feels the same way or got advice I’d like to hear.
