Positive Singles-Problematic?

Am I alone in thinking that the idea of an app that shepherds all of us into one place, away from the “non infected”, might actually be contributing pretty significantly to the perpetuation of the stigma? Like when I (M30) got diagnosed last week, I was spiraling pretty bad, and impulsively dropped the $85/3mo deal, which by the way- charging 30 bucks a month for a dating app knowing how vulnerable and desperate the userbase is, feels maniacal and exploitative af… but I now think the app is more problematic than that. Its existence suggests that secluding yourself away from the rest of the world is a reasonable response to this diagnosis, and I really dont think it should be. That’s old-fashioned stigma shit. I guess if that is the reassurance some people need to feel comfortable, then go with god. The vibes are not right… even the amount of people that are too ashamed to show their faces… like, I get it, but come on. If I meet some cool people in the 3 months that I'm on there, dope, but after that I am done. This app sees us as a capitalist venture. They actively encourage the idea that we should pariah ourselves away from the bigger dating pool because it strengthens their revenue. Sure, we all need to make adjustments now, but IMO stick to the normal dating apps, be yourself, be direct and honest, educate folks that are part of the stigma.
