Do you think this is ethical and appropriate way to prevent diffuse thinning?

I think I was misinformed and felt victim to a predatory clinic. I thought that a hair transplant is a proper to fill in my temples and to add density to diffuse thinning scalp. I was assured by the clinic that I am a good candidate. They didn’t ask me about my medical history or hairloss history. Later I found out, it is not recommended to transplant in the area where there is still a lot of miniaturised hairs as it may damage them and cause new hairs to not grow. The clinic advice against using any medication. I think I would be good with just fin and minox and this is very excessive and unnecessary. I thought a little bit of a touch up cannot go wrong as I have a very strong donor and a few hairs missing won’t change it.

The consultation was rushed and they didn’t spend much time analyzing my hair. I wanted to cancel and escape from there but they kept pushing me into it.

It was supposed to be 2500 grafts, but the technicians didn’t actually count the grafts. I counted them from the photos taken afterwards and it isn’t possible it’s anything close to 2.5k, it’s closer to +4K. They have this “unlimited grafts policy”.

Now, after 2 months my donor does feel very thin like an old man’s hair. There are multiple multigrafts in the hairline and some of the are even growing backwards. I am depressed.

The doctor had graduated his course 1 year before surgery and since he is ISHRS associate member. The technicians have medical background but they bearly passed their studies.

What do you think? Am I imagining things?
