Interesting teams and players to follow for the upcoming World Championship

I am a very casual handball enjoyer and as such I don't know who are the good / interesting teams and players to follow.

Are the best teams still like Denmark, Sweden, Norway, France, Spain, Croatia ?

As a French person, I am of course interested in team France: how good can we expect our team to be? Some great players are getting old, so I was wondering how the status of our team changed.
