H2/Mumbai/Culinary Trip/Feed the birds challenge bug help

Today I encountered a bug while completing a challenge for the culinary trip pack.

I've seen a thread in the hitman forums form months ago but I think it was deleted, a comment in a youtube video and a post just a few hours ago by another player. I'll quote this player's explanation below as it is exactly what happens to me. Nobody seems to answer in the forums so I wanted to ask here if anyone knows a solution.

"Playing Hitman 2 on PS4, I completed the Mumbai challenge “Feed the Birds”, and the popup in the corner of the screen appeared, showing the challenge as complete. Completing “Feed the Birds” also completed “The Culinary Trip” for me, and the popup for that challenge also appeared. At that time, I could go into challenges in the menu and see The Culinary Trip challenges as all complete - 4/4.

However, completing my playthrough of the level, or exiting the playthrough, causes “Feed the Birds” and “The Culinary Trip” to disappear and show as incomplete (2/4). Even if I reload a save that had previously shown them to be complete, they are then shown as incomplete. This is preventing me from unlocking the Antique Curved Knife.

I have completed “Feed the Birds” multiple times, in Chasing a Ghost, Illusions of Grandeur, and in escalation contracts. In each scenario the popup appears showing the challenge as complete, only to show as incomplete as soon as I leave or complete the playthrough" - bwhodgins
