Question about Cades Cove Tennessee (Great Smokies)

I am going on a camping trip with my family in a couple of weeks to Cades Cove Tennessee, which is in the Great Smokies. This will be my first time going to Cades Cove, let alone the Great Smokies. Since I know there has been some weird stories and encounters to come out of this area, I was going to ask if anyone here has been or knows someone who has been to Cades Cove or the Great Smokies and has had a weird experience there?
