Mastery and adventure questions

  1. If I like adventure mode, which mastery should I unlock first (haven't played the game in months so Im new to the mastery stuff) What are the masteries anyway?
  2. I have all but cuptown and savanna adventure unlocked. If I choose 1, which should I choose to unlock? Which is more fun?
