For those of you that studied histology/got certified...

I hope this question makes sense, but I'm curious why you chose getting a degree/cert in histology over getting a degree in CLT or MLS/MLT, etc. (NOT why you are working in histology.)

I posted a while back, but for context I'm doing a 180 career wise and considering getting into histology...but I'm looking at other programs (A.S or certifications, since I do not have any bio/chem classes from my prior BA degree) and I'm wondering if I should look into getting an A.S in CLT instead of narrowing my options down to histology (even though that's what I think my interest lies in.) My head is swimming a little bit with all the similar titles and jobs and I'm trying to narrow down what path I should go down.
