What kind of siding is this?

I’m looking to match this siding but I’m not sure what species of wood this is and what the construction process is. Are these vertical boards only or are they vertical boards on top of a rough sawn plywood? Anyone help me out with some guidance on technique and / or sourcing of materials? Thanks in advance!
