Furnishing a new house tips

I'm almost at the point of exchange/completion for a new 2 bed house with my fiancé, after years of renting I can't wait however the next worry in life is furnishing this property. Having lived in furnished flats, I'll be moving in with the essentials of an air-fryer and a TV, but I'll need to source everything else since our sellers aren't leaving us a thing.

Anyone got any good cost-saving tips or advice when it comes to furnishing a property? Thanks!
