Are raw eggs safe to eat?

I've always had the uncontrollable urge to eat raw eggs. They look so good and especially when they're a darker orange instead of the basic yellow. I always want to, but then my mom and brother start saying I'm gonna get samonela.

Is this even true? Like what are the chances, what's the odds? Because if it's low enough, I'm willing to try.

Question 2: Sushi is not safe to eat raw normally, but then the scientists flash freeze it and then it's completely safe to eat raw! So that's how sushi can exist.

However, could this same thing theoretically be dont to raw chicken? Or raw beef? I've always wondered about that, because I've always wanted to eat raw meat but I know how dangerous it is normally.

TLDR: Are raw eggs safe to eat? Can meat be flash frozen to be safe to eat raw?
