First paid service after 3 years of sonata

They seem quite high to me.

I declined cabin filter change and deferred brake fluid exchange. Bought the cabin filter from the parts store of the service center and they charged $46 for it. They were charging $13 for the key fob battery also which I obviously declined and took care of it myself. I have driven my car very less and it is not showing any signs of a problem.

Final bill was around $580 out of which $410 was labor

It would be great if someone can suggest the items I can take care of myself going forward. I have very less konwledge of cars but can do simple DIY stuff watching youtube or over the internet.

Is there a typical schedule people follow for service or do have to go by what Hyundai is suggesting?
