IELTS Listening Experience

In the recent IELTS tests -

Did you get to hear the audio for the example at the very beginning? Or has IELTS omitted it recently?

And is there less time to read the questions in Listening section 4?

Also, did you have to go through all of section 4 in one go like the tests in Cambridge IELTS books?

(Asking because in a mock test I experienced something different to that which led me to miss out on some questions in section 4. I normally don't have problems with Listening section 4 in the Cambridge IELTS books.)
