PIO advice needed

This is my 3rd embryo transfer and I am having difficulty ensuring the needle is in the glute muscle before injecting the PIO. Tonight, I pulled back like normal and got resistance with no blood, so I went ahead and Injected the oil, but when I pulled the needle out, it bled so much. Usually it only bleeds like this if I am not in the muscle. Any tips??

I have no idea why i am having so much trouble this time around. I am giving the shots in the same places as I was the last 2 times.
