Resources to learn Coast Salish languages

Hey guys,

I’m a language nerd who’s looking to learn some of the Indigenous languages of Canada. In the past I’ve learned Cree, Ojibwe and Mohawk (for which there are comparatively many resources) but I think a West Coast language would be super cool to add to the mix.

The problem is that many of these languages are more obscure and lack learning materials. For example, I’ve found some stories and videos in Halkomelem, but not an actual book/online course with lessons, as to grammar, verb conjugations, etc.

I’m wondering if anyone here has any leads. I didn’t specify a language because I don’t want to limit myself that way, but ideally it should be from the Salishan family and one of the Coast Salish languages if possible.
