Cheapest device for gaming

So first of all I'm new to this so bear with me I want something like hybrid video game console (like nintendo switch) I guess this is what they are called but it should be really cheap. I don't really want toplay new games, I just want to have fun. So any suggestions (max budget 2k-5k) If they are not affordable is there anything else that works like this
