Who are your Roman empire couples and why?

Who are some couples that you can’t get over? And why?

Mine would be:

Aryan Singh Rathore and Imlie - Imlie 1 The start and the angst was so perfect and imo the plotline should have somehow been them getting back at Aditya together somehow. RIP to my ideas. They could have been grumpy and sunshine but the sunshine being more averse to love/ and the grumpy one being more in love. So much there

Anu and Tani - Tere liye Seriously so sweet, so much good angst there too with a childhood friends to lovers story

Sia and Raghav - Saubhagyavati Bhava Too short of a time of them, i know they werent the main storyline but man were the so good

Sailee and Sachin - Udne ki Aasha There’s so many layers and tropes here. Touch her and you die. Angsty start. The FL being more physically affectionate in the beginning and the ML being averse but mostly because he never really got affection as a child. And them growing together as a couple, its ongoing so i hope they continue this route

Varya and Haryaksh - Seven on Sony I dont remember much, and i can’t find the full episodes anywhere for Seven but I remember them being one of the first couples i shipped as a kid. Haryaksh was the straightforward streetsmart character who grew up as a poor orphan in the streets of Mumbai with the power to control fire, Varya (if I remember correctly was hurt by some guy before) is very volitale and emotional, and has the power to control nature. Haryaksh being the hot headed guy who helped Varya control her volitile emotions while she helped him ease his hot headedness.

RK and Madhubala - Madhubala: Ek Ishq Ek Junoon Just started watching recently, because all this time i thought it would be too toxic. I mean it is, but the first 300ish episodes is such a wonderful dark romance while not fully crossing the lines. I wish they let Madhu fully be as insane as RK was. And we saw glimpses of it too when girl was ready to jump off of a building for revenge. And at least to me initially it doesnt seem like they portrayed Madhu as a doormat, simply almost as crazy as RK, they just went the typical route for her after the inital track. It would have seriously been so good if she became equally as messed up as him.

Sultan and Madhubala - Madhubala: Ek Ishq Ek Junoon LOL it was the first time ever I saw myself shipping the FL with both people but I cant help it, they had such good tropes, the single dad gangster/mafia boss with a heart of gold and the girl who saves his son who he is very attached to. The girl having a heartbroken past and not believing in love. Both getting a second chance at love. It could have been soo good. I would have wanted a different show just on this. It basically could have been YHM but dark.
