Shaheer sheikh vs His other costar's success - Career Comparison

For me, Pooja Sharma from Mahabharat was one of the most popular, likeable, and intelligent actors with real main character energy. After Mahabharat, all the cast members went to Indonesia to do shows, but Pooja didn’t work there much and returned to India. Though big shows were offered to her, she was very picky and ended up wasting 3-4 years without much work. She also didn’t capitalize on Instagram or other social media platforms, which could’ve helped her stay relevant.

On the other hand, Shaheer Sheikh played his cards well. He wasn’t as talented as Pooja, but he was charming enough to maintain the media’s attention in Indonesia. He tried to date Pooja, but when that didn’t work out, he quickly moved on and started dating an Indonesian pop star, which kept the media buzzing around him. He even appeared on a dating-type show with girls.

When that short relationship ended, the media labeled him a "womanizer." He returned to India, started with a show that didn’t work out, but immediately took up a limited-budget show like Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, which turned out to be a hit. He learned from his past mistakes and since then has maintained great relationships, which led to him getting repeated shows.

Shaheer never badmouthed anyone, even when a show’s producer took the money and didn’t pay the actors. He never took a stand for his co-stars publicly, but others like Sonarika did and faced backlash. Shaheer always speaks highly of everyone — he knows how to build and maintain connections without speaking negatively about anyone. Even during the "shahi paneer" controversy, he stayed quiet and handled it gracefully.

Sometimes in acting, people take risks by waiting for the right opportunity. But it’s important to be careful about what and how much to wait for. Shaheer is talented, but he’s also blessed with great business sense. In an industry that’s often female-driven, he’s managed to navigate it well. He kept the media interested when he wanted to, and stayed away when he didn’t. Even today, people don’t know much about his second daughter or marital life, showing how carefully he manages his personal space.

Shaheer moves fast. Today, he has 1-2 movies with his wife, earning big bucks. He’s even purchased properties in multiple locations and has side passive income. There’s a chance he and his wife may even become producers in the future. If Pooja had followed a similar path, staying active and making quick decisions, she could have easily been as successful as actors like Jennifer Winget. She could have also ventured into business or social media.

The key takeaway here is that fast decision-making and building strong connections really help in this industry, and Shaheer’s career is proof of that. What do you think?
