Am I an 'at-fault driver' if someone else was driving my car in an accident?

I'm in California btw.

Last year, I was involved in a car accident in which another driver (I was in the passenger seat) rear ended into another. Because it was my car, I filed a claim and iirc the driver gave their insurance information as well. I honestly don't remember if my insurance covered the accident or if it was his, since he wasn't registered as a driver in my policy.

I'm looking for a new insurance company. When they ask you "As a driver, have you had any accidents?" Do I answer yes or no? I was involved in an accident since it was my car that did the crashing, but I wasn't the person behind the wheel, so I don't know if that makes me a driver at-fault in theory.
