State Farm Drive Safe and Save

Does anyone feel that this whole program puts a little more stress on you and in turn makes you a less safe driver ?

On the occasion, while passing or something you get dinged for speed, even if there was a reason and it was temporary. If someone stops short, again dinged. The device doesn’t account for hazards and obstacles on the road.

I feel that while it’s running I’m constantly having to decide whether I make less safe decisions for the score rather than just normally going about my drive.

Seems to be no recourse and there can be events where there weren’t any or in an actual situation where you’d hard break or something, there’s nothing to support that.

I think the whole “drive safe” and save thing paradoxically puts you in situations where you have to act irrationally for a stupid score
