IFS makes me go to sleep. Is this normal?

Hey guys,

So I recently discovered IFS on Reddit and was really intrigued. So I read about I and tried some guided meditations by Dr. Richard Schwartz on the app called Insight Timer. Thing is, I've tried this a couple of time, always in my bed in the evening since I feel like being relaxed on the bed you know? But every single time, mostly halfway through the meditation just as I begin to recognise the self within that is anxious, and the body parts that feel tight and all, I fall asleep. I mean it's a great way to make myself got k sleep but I feel like maybe this is like a switch within me that says, oops looks tricky let's go to sleep so we wouldn't have to talk to he anxious self. Lol

Wondering if this happens with any of you too, or like if there's anything specific that j should thinkinf about it or doing to sort of crack the code, so to say?
