Seeking almost full-ride, got deferred from Northwestern ED. Should I ED2?

Chemical Engineering major, Female, first-gen, low-income, intl student from underrepresented country at Northwestern:

-SAT 1530 first try

-4 APs self-study in 11th grade, (4 on PhyC mech, and all 5s on chem, stat, calc BC)

-ECs on education, some voluntary kinda works/movements during the COVID years, volunteering at the botanical garden for 4 years, presented research, school academic club, authored chem book

-Honors: some national level olympiad awards, writing competition awards (i wrote my eating competition 1st place award, and I regret)

-Essays: literally connected my personal story to academic matters on my Common App personal essay, and northwestern's 300 words essay, also wrote threatening letter to NU and uploaded it on my portal

-Sent ISAFA and didn't receive the CSS fee waiver, EFC 6k

NOOOO WAYYY I GOT DEFERRED!!! I loved Northwestern, had purple preview with 2 Northwestern students, literally loved the school's vibe, location, and the academics. Northwestern has been my dream school since the December of last year, and after some thoughtful calculation and analysis, I figured that they defer only around 1.5% of the ED applicants. Ik it's a good thing and it actually creates a hope for me.

The problem is that little hope is making me doubt whether I should apply to Tufts as ED2. They just sent me one of their newstellers with their persuasive email to apply ED2. I js jokingly said: OK I'll EDII there, and they sent me a reply. (Wtf I have been doing this for years and none of the unis answered). I like Tufts and I guess they loved me back, and I love their energy but I still gt Northwestern at my heart. If I ED2 there and get in, I will never know if I could've gotten into Northwestern. I might feel like I married to the man I like (Tufts) but still thinks about my ex (Northwestern) even in the moments I am spending with my husband.

For Northwestern, I cen send my InitialView interviews, LOCI, and also talk about the competitions I am participating these days. I think my LOCI will be good.

Have any aid-seeking internationals ever got into Northwestern from the deferral? Should I sacrifice my ED2 for Northwestern? I am already applying to 40+ colleges in the US through RD.

PS: none of these unis ever accepted a student from my country throughout the past 4 years.
