Carplay media source issue - Switches from car radio to carplay audio

I have a DIGI DASH 3.0 for carplay and while using the car radio whenever I receive a notification on my iphone or waze notificiation about traffic, cameras, police etc the audio source switches to carplay like I want to play music from my iphone. It drives me crazy. Does anyone know how to solve this?
