Out of all directors that made multiple Bond films, who's your favourite one?
Here we have:
- Terence Young (Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Thunderball)
- Guy Hamilton (Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever, Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun)
- Lewis Gilbert (You Only Live Twice, The Spy who Loved Me, Moonraker)
- John Glen (For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, A View to a Kill, The Living Daylights, Licence to Kill)
- Martin Campbell (GoldenEye, Casino Royale)
- Sam Mendes (Skyfall, Spectre)
My pick is easily Martin Campbell. Both iconic Bond entries and also widely considered THE best films of Brosnan and Craig during their Bond tenure (even arguably the best films in their career to date). It's no surprise if they'll invite him to come back for Bond 26 - and I hope so.
Following closely at the second is John Glen. I don't wanna talk much about his Moore films - but if you really insist to ask, I love Octopussy. Then... the 2 Dalton films kicked in and wow, they really showed how great he is at helming serious, gritty Bond films. To this day Licence to Kill is still within my top 5 Bond films ever.
