Please do not reserve hotel on this platform

I had recently used japanican to book a hotel in Hiroshima. They are about 20% cheaper than the 2nd cheapest platform. But it was a very unpleasant experience.

I realised I can't change credit card, U have to cancel the booking and rebook it - if your reservation has no penalty. I realised I also can't cancel it on my end, as the server is perpetually down as per the error message. Thankfully, I could still cancel it via the customer service, only email! Their customer support hotline is a Japanese number, even if it's for guests out of Japan.

When I redo the booking.at other platform, I realised the reason why it is so cheap in a 4 star hotel is because the leftover rooms are all smoking rooms, which are not indicated on Japanican. It is shown on other platform, that is how I figured out.
