Understanding the Structure of Kabaddi in the World

I am Brazilian and have known about Kabaddi for about 4 years, but it was only recently that I decided to delve deeper into the sport, learn more and eventually I intend to bring it to Brazil so we can start practicing.

However, it has been relatively difficult to understand the structure of Kabaddi in the world, I will put here some points of my doubts, if you can help me, I would appreciate it!

I will start with International Institutions that regulate and promote Kabaddi in the world: I have joined 4 of them.

Which one is the main one? Why are there so many confederations? Unlike, for example, football, which is the main sport in Brazil, which has FIFA as its only organization?

Another difficult point here in learning about the sport and understanding where it is practiced around the world is the leagues.

I clearly understood that the PKL is the biggest and main league in the world, but what about the other countries? I see that Iran always stands out in international championships. Is it the second biggest league in the world? If so, which league is it? Which other country has a prominent and relevant Kabaddi league?

Or is it all concentrated in India? If so, besides the PKL, what are the main club leagues?
