The diaries of franz Kafka- I’m lost.

Hello everyone. This is my first time reading something by Kafka and I’m….lost. Is this book suppose to be random, is it suppose to flow? I don’t usually read books like this but I wanted to try something different and challenge myself but I just have no idea what I am reading lol.

It doesn’t seem to flow- which I get it’s a diary after all but when I pick up to read it and finished a few pages, I have no idea what i just read lol
