Gen-Z passion washing away in the rain

Here it is, the first rainy Thursday of the Great Tuesday/Thursday Gen-Z Uprising and most of you sit inside perusing social media.

Don’t feel bad.  It’s the pattern with all the false popular uprisings of the past few years.  Fun to find and feign outrage over a moral cause. But falter when it requires true sacrifice.

American students partied on campus, setting up tent cities, claiming solidarity with Palestine. But when they realized the universities were withholding degrees, they wilted away.

Even Black Lives Matter seem more important on sunny days more than they do in the snow and rain.  The weather during the week of the Minneapolis protests of 2020 was much better than the weeks before and after.
