Can’t finish the game (Kona 1)

I’m literally at the very end. Escaped the Windigo through the cemetery, followed the trail to the train and walked up to the gate at at the end of the train by the bridge right by the boat ramp but there is no prompt for me to open the gate and pressing X (I’m on ps5) won’t open it either. I’ve tried restarting the game and gone back the the cemetery checkpoint a few times but it doesn’t change.

Has anyone else ran into this? I’m grateful for any suggestions
