LA Transit Stories - Looking for Interviews
Hi everyone! My name is Kurt and I am working on a project titled LA Transit Stories. As someone who rode public transit extensively for the 21-22 year in LA, I grew both frustrated and passionate about the system.
For the project, I am interviewing frequent public transit riders in the LA community about their experiences, their background, and their opinions on LA transit. The goal is to then use these interviews to write a semi-fictional, interconnected collection of short stories that share the voices of those who ride public transit. I aim to share the diversity of riders, spread awareness of the system to non-riders, and advocate for increased funds to LA's transit system. All proceeds raised by this project will be donated back to charitable, LA organizations of interviewees' choice.
